This notice is hereby given of public hearings to receive public comment to adopt the Moroni City proposed fiscal year 2026-2027 operating budget along with adopting the certified tax rate proposed by Sanpete County and to reopen and amend the 2025-2026 budget.
The proposed 2026-2027 budget includes the following rate increase:
- Proposed increase in Police Fee by $1.00 raising the fee from $22.00 per month to $23.00 per month
There will also be an independent enterprise fund transfer hearing to discuss the intended transfer from the Water fund to the General Fund in the amount of $25,000.00, which is 5.9% of the total expenses of the 2026-2027 water budget.
The hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Moroni City Community Center, 80 South 200 West.
